Who We Are
The Oklahoma Department of Mines (ODM) is the state agency responsible for regulating non-fuel mining operations, enforcing environmental compliance, and ensuring worker safety. Key duties include issuing mining permits, conducting regular site inspections for reclamation, managing the Non-Mining Blasting Program, and providing training in mine safety and accident prevention.
