A 40-Year Legacy of Safer Mining
The South Central Joint Mine Health & Safety Association is a non-profit established in 2014 to carry forward a regional safety conference that has run since 1983. We were the first regional industry/MSHA partnership (the “joint” in our name) mine health and safety conference in the country.
Each spring we bring owners, managers, contractors, educators, labor, and government regulators to one table to share information, deliver legal and regulatory updates, run hands-on training workshops, and build the relationships that keep miners safe.
